| He was born on March 2, 1943, in Providence, the son of the late George T. and Cordelia (Raymond) Pimer. He resided most of his life in Charlestown, and was a member of the Downey Weaver American Legion Post in Charlestown. His career was diverse and included auto body work, commercial rod and reel fishing and working for many years as a mate on charter fishing boats. Jack was an avid sportsman and loved fishing and hunting. He was a talented entertainer and will best be remembered for his honesty, his music, his songs, his "true" stories, his artwork and his ability to make you laugh. Jack will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted friend and companion, Virginia Buoranno of Hopkinton; his sister, Carol McKenna of Seminole, Fla.; his daughter, Ann Hackney; his two sons, John H. Pimer Jr. and Joseph Pimer, both of Charlestown; and his grandchildren, Amanda and Tyler Hackney and Emma Pimer. He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Taylor Dorr; and his daughter, Jane Pimer. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, Main Street, Hope Valley. There will be a gathering of family and friends to remember Jack at the Downey Weaver Post in Charlestown on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860. | |||

| Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William A. and Ruth (Viens) Roy. David had been employed as a quality control supervisor at Darlington Fabrics, retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan. He loved to watch PGA golf and read. He enjoyed working in his yard and sitting in his chair under the big maple tree. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Bethany A. Roy of Westerly; a stepson, the Rev. Dean Perri of Bristol, R.I.; a stepdaughter, Shannon Algier of Westerly; two sisters, Jane Turner of Derby, Conn., and Eleanor Fairman of South Yarmouth, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment in River Bend Cemetery will be private. | |||

| Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Angelina (Murano) Gradilone. She had been formerly employed as a weaver at the George C. Moore Co. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Gordon Lawless Jr. of Westerly and Michael Lawless of Georgia; six daughters and their spouses, Starlene Kotsikoros of Presque Isle, Maine, Susan and Ron Jarvais of Jacksonville, Fla., Patti and Jerry Corriveau of California, Jeanne and Bernard Brown of Presque Isle, Gail and Kevin McNerney of Hudson, Maine and Cathy Racini of Connecticut; one brother, Robert Gradilone and his wife Joanna of Pawcatuck; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Angelo and Lewis Gradilone; and by two sisters, Mary Romanella and Frances Falcone. Calling hours on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, will precede the funeral service in the funeral home, to begin at 5 p.m. Burial in St. Sebastian Cemetery will take place Thursday morning. | |||

| She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Anthony and Sarah (Collins) Ciullo. She married Joseph Bianco on Feb. 22, 1947. They made their home in Brooklyn and moved to Queens in 1951. While living there, she was involved in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She worked as an executive secretary for Sears Roebuck in Manhattan until 1962. The family moved to North Stonington in 1965 where she became involved with the Democratic Women's Club and the North Stonington Nursing Board. She was a member of the North Stonington Board of Education serving as the chairwoman for two terms and served on the North Stonington Permanent Building Committee. She was a founding member of Saint Thomas More Church serving as a religious educator, a former member of the All Seasons Council, a community leader and a Eucharistic Minister. She also was a longtime volunteer at The Westerly Hospital. Her many memberships included the North Stonington Golden Agers and the North Stonington Senior Center. She retired from the Supervisor of Shipbuilding in Groton in 1991 after serving as the government liaison of the NR1 Project. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Sellins and her husband, David; son, Joseph Bianco and his wife, Constance; daughter, Elaine Headley and her husband, Sam; daughter, Clare Ornburn and her husband, Chris; and her daughter-in-law, Grace Curley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Raymond and Anthony. She was predeceased by Joseph, her husband of 53 years, and her son, John. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Moore Church, 87 Mystic Road, North Stonington, Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St Michael Cemetery in Pawcatuck. The family will receive friends at Mystic Funeral Home, Route 1, Mystic, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Trust for the Children of John Bianco, c/o Debbie Metcalfe, 3 Pickering Court, Danvers, MA 01923.
